PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Veloce Fermati two-piece floating brake rotors are safety-critical automotive components. Improper selection, installation, or use may result in brake failure, loss of vehicle control, property damage, serious injury, or death.

By purchasing our products, you acknowledge:

Professional Installation Strongly Recommended: Installation by a qualified automotive technician or licensed mechanic is strongly recommended. Self-installation is undertaken entirely at your own risk and voids the express 12-month manufacturing warranty. A receipt of professional installation is required to make a warranty claim.

Vehicle Safety: You are responsible for ensuring products are compatible with your specific vehicle and installed correctly according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Regular Inspection: Brake components must be inspected regularly for wear, damage, or defects.

Operating Limitations: Our products are designed for enthusiast street use. Track use, racing, and competitive motorsport void warranty coverage and are undertaken at your own risk.

Risk Acceptance: You accept the risks associated with the purchase, installation, and use of our products, to the extent permitted by law.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AJI Imports Pty Ltd's total liability for any claim arising from the purchase, installation, or use of our products is limited to replacement of the defective product or refund of the purchase price paid.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we expressly exclude liability for:

Property Damage:

Damage to your vehicle or any vehicle components
Damage to wheels, tyres, suspension, or drivetrain
Damage to brake system components (calipers, pads, fluid, lines, master cylinder, ABS components)
Damage to any other property

Personal Injury:

Personal injury or death, except where caused by our negligence or breach of non-excludable statutory obligations

Financial Losses:

Loss of use of vehicle or property
Loss of time, wages, or income
Towing, recovery, or transport costs
Vehicle rental or replacement costs
Installation, removal, or reinstallation costs
Loss of profits or business revenue
Economic loss of any kind
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Time Limitation:

Any claim arising more than 12 months after the date of purchase

Non-Excludable Rights: Nothing in this section excludes or restricts any consumer guarantees, warranties, or other rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or other applicable consumer protection legislation. Where applicable law prohibits exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities, our liability is limited to the minimum required by law.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

Replacement or refund for a major failure
Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy of product information, specifications, and fitment data. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy of all specifications, compatibility with all vehicle variants, fitment with modified or non-standard brake systems, compatibility with all aftermarket wheels, or specific performance outcomes.

You are responsible for verifying fitment for your specific vehicle, confirming compatibility with your brake system, measuring wheel clearance, and consulting a qualified mechanic if unsure.

We reserve the right to update product specifications, materials, or manufacturing processes without notice. Minor cosmetic variations, machining marks, slight dimensional variations within tolerance, and colour differences from images are not considered defects.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

Professional installation by a qualified automotive technician is strongly recommended. Brake systems are safety-critical — improper installation can cause brake failure, vehicle damage, injury, or death.

Self-installation voids the express 12-month manufacturing warranty. A receipt of professional installation is required to make a warranty claim. We cannot exclude liability under Australian Consumer Law for negligence or breach of consumer guarantees regardless of installation method.

Proper installation requires torque specifications followed precisely, threadlocker applied to bobbin hardware, the recommended bedding-in procedure completed, compatible brake pads used, clean installation free of contamination, and a post-installation function check.

MODIFICATIONS PROHIBITED

Any modification to our products immediately voids all warranties and may render the product unsafe. Prohibited modifications include machining or resurfacing friction surfaces, drilling additional holes, swapping bells between different rotor assemblies, using non-OEM hardware or fasteners, painting or coating friction surfaces, or any other alteration to product design or dimensions.

TRACK USE AND MOTORSPORT

Use of our products in track days, racing, or competitive motorsport is entirely at your own risk. Our 12-month manufacturing warranty excludes track use. We accept no liability for damage, injury, loss, or death arising from motorsport activities including track days, racing events, time trials, drift events, or performance driving events.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on our website — text, graphics, logos, images, product names and descriptions, website design, software and code — is protected by intellectual property law and owned by or licensed to AJI Imports Pty Ltd.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content; use it for commercial purposes; modify or create derivative works; use our trademarks or branding without written permission; or use automated systems to access our website.

By submitting photos, reviews, or other content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it, and confirm you own all rights to the content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

We collect personal information necessary to process orders and provide services: name and contact details, shipping and billing addresses, payment information, vehicle information, and communication history.

We use this information to process and fulfil orders, communicate about orders and shipping, provide customer support, improve our products, and send marketing communications with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with shipping carriers, payment processors, and service providers as necessary to operate our business, and with law enforcement when legally required.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information (subject to legal obligations) by contacting info@velocefermati.com.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms and all related matters are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in the courts of Queensland, Australia. If we prevail in legal action to enforce these terms, you agree to pay our reasonable legal costs.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Before initiating any legal action, contact us to attempt informal resolution. We will respond within 2 business days and work toward resolution in good faith.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure or delay due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including acts of God, pandemic, war, government actions, strikes, transportation delays, supply chain disruptions, utility failures, or cyberattacks affecting our systems or suppliers. Our obligations are suspended for the duration of such events.

GENERAL

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary while the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time.

These terms, together with our Return and Refund Policy, Warranty Policy, Terms of Service, and Shipping Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AJI Imports Pty Ltd.

INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless AJI Imports Pty Ltd from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of our products, violation of these terms, violation of any laws or third-party rights, negligent or wrongful conduct, product modifications, improper installation, or fraudulent chargebacks.
