RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

NO CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. Brake rotors are precision-engineered safety components. Please ensure you order the correct specification before purchasing.


WHEN WE ACCEPT RETURNS

We accept returns only in the following situations:

1. Manufacturing Defects (12-Month Warranty)

If your rotors have a manufacturing defect within 12 months of purchase, contact us within the warranty period. Defect claims are not subject to the 30-day window below — they are assessed under our 12-month warranty.

For a defect claim to be assessed, you must provide:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the defect
  • Proof of professional installation — a receipt or invoice from a qualified automotive technician including installer name, business details, installation date, torque values, and brake pad model
  • Current mileage and description of the issue

Claims submitted without proof of professional installation will not be assessed. We will review your submission within 2 business days.

2. Incorrect Fitment (Our Listing Error Only)

If rotors do not fit due to incorrect information published on our website:

  • We cover return shipping both ways
  • Full refund or exchange to correct specification
  • No restocking fee

Does not cover:

  • Customer ordering wrong specification
  • Wheel clearance issues with aftermarket wheels
  • Modified brake systems (unless pre-approved by us in writing)
  • Customer ordering for the wrong vehicle

3. Wrong Item Shipped

If we shipped the wrong product:

  • We provide a prepaid return label
  • You must return the wrong item before we ship the correct product or process a refund
  • Once received, we will ship the correct product immediately or process a full refund

We are not responsible if you install or use the wrong product before contacting us.

4. Damaged in Transit

If rotors arrive damaged in transit, we will replace them at no cost to you. We provide a prepaid return label and cover all reshipping costs. A transit damage claim must be reported within 48 hours of delivery — see our Shipping Policy for reporting requirements.


RETURN REQUIREMENTS

Time Limits:

  • Transit damage: report within 48 hours of delivery
  • Wrong item shipped or our fitment error: contact us within 30 calendar days of delivery
  • Manufacturing defects: contact us within the 12-month warranty period from purchase date

Condition — Wrong Item and Fitment Error Returns:
Rotors must be unused and uninstalled, in original packaging with all hardware included, and free from marks, scratches, contamination, or fingerprints on friction surfaces.

Condition — Manufacturing Defect and Transit Damage Claims:
Installed rotors are accepted for assessment. We cannot assess a defect claim on a rotor that has never been fitted. Provide photos before returning — we will issue a return authorisation and prepaid label if the claim proceeds.

Non-Returnable in all cases:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect ordering by customer
  • Products purchased under the 50% First-Year Replacement Program
  • Rotors with modifications
  • Missing hardware or incomplete kits

RETURN PROCESS

1. Contact Us First
Email info@velocefermati.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable. Do not ship anything without authorisation — unauthorised returns will be refused.

2. Await Return Authorisation
We will assess your request and respond within 2 business days. If approved, we will provide a return authorisation number and prepaid return label.

3. Pack Securely
Use original packaging. Include all hardware. Do not write on or tape directly to product boxes.

5. Shipping Costs for Accepted Returns

  • Manufacturing defects: We provide prepaid return label
  • Our fitment error: We provide prepaid return label
  • Wrong item shipped: We provide prepaid return label
  • Damaged in transit: We provide prepaid return label

For all accepted returns using our prepaid labels, we are responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.


REFUND PROCESSING

This section applies only to returns accepted under the categories above. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds.

  • Returned items inspected within 2 business days of receipt
  • Refunds processed within 5 business days after inspection
  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Allow 5–10 business days for refund to appear in your account

Refund Amount:

  • Full product price refunded
  • Original shipping costs not refunded (unless the return is due to our error)

Rejected Returns:
If returned items do not meet our return requirements, we will notify you by email with the reason. You may choose to have items returned to you at your expense, or allow us to dispose of them at no cost to you. No refund will be issued either way.


EXCHANGES

We do not offer exchanges. If we shipped the wrong product, we will ship the correct product or issue a refund after receiving the wrong item back. For any other situation requiring a different specification, place a new order for the correct product.


FIRST-YEAR REPLACEMENT PROGRAM

50% Off Replacement Rotors (12 Months)

Need replacement rotors within your first year of ownership for any reason? We offer 50% off a new set. This is separate from our warranty — it applies for any reason, including track use, wear, or accidental damage.

Eligibility:

  • Original purchaser only
  • Within 12 months of purchase date
  • One-time use per order
  • Same specification as original order

How to Use:

  • Email us with your original order number
  • We will verify eligibility and send a 50% discount code
  • Place your replacement order using the code

This is not a return program:

  • You keep your original rotors — no return required
  • No refund is provided — discount applies to a new purchase only
  • Standard shipping rates apply — customer pays shipping on the replacement order

FRAUDULENT RETURNS

We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if we detect:

  • Returned product is not the item we shipped
  • Product swapping
  • Damage caused after delivery
  • Installed products returned as unused
  • Abuse of return policy

Fraudulent returns may result in permanent account suspension, legal action to recover losses, and reporting to relevant authorities.


AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • Replacement or refund for a major failure
  • Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality
