Retaining Bolt: We generally do not include the rotor retaining bolt. This bolt is used during assembly to hold the rotor in place before the wheel is fitted — it is not structurally required once the wheel is mounted, as the wheel bolts retain the rotor.

Location Hole: A location hole may not be included, or may differ from the location hole on your OEM rotor. Location hole position varies significantly between vehicle year, make, and model. This is not an essential feature — the wheel bolts are what retain and secure the rotor to the hub.

Professional Installation: These rotors should be installed by a qualified automotive professional. Brakes are a safety-critical system — correct installation, torque specifications, and bedding procedure are essential for safe operation.

Veloce Fermati two-piece floating rotors are engineered as direct replacements for your factory brake system. They are designed to:

  • Bolt directly to your existing brake calipers
  • Mount to your factory hubs without adapters or modifications
  • Work with your current caliper brackets and hardware
  • Maintain factory rotor diameter and offset specifications
  • Fit within your existing wheels (most applications require 18" minimum)
  • Preserve ADR compliance in regulated markets

No modifications required. If you can change your factory rotors, you can install Veloce Fermati rotors.

OUR FITMENT GUARANTEE

If you order rotors that don't fit your vehicle due to incorrect listing information on our website, we'll make it right:

  • Full refund or free exchange to correct specification

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Before You Order — Verification Checklist:

1. Verify Your Vehicle Details:

  • Trim level or variant (Base, Sport, Premium, etc.)
  • Factory brake package (Standard, Performance, Brembo, etc.)
  • VIN-specific brake configuration if applicable

2. Check Wheel Clearance:

  • Confirm minimum wheel diameter required (listed in product specifications)
  • Verify spoke design will clear rotor diameter
  • Check offset and backspacing with rotor dimensions
  • Test-fit if possible before final installation

3. Confirm Front vs Rear Application:

  • Front and rear rotors are different specifications
  • Order the correct axle position for your needs
  • If ordering a full set, select BOTH front AND rear

4. Modified Vehicles — Contact Us First:
You MUST contact us before ordering if you have aftermarket brake calipers, suspension modifications, wheel spacers, non-factory wheels near minimum diameter, engine swaps, racing brake components, or any uncertainty about your brake configuration. Fitment guarantee does NOT apply to modified vehicles unless we confirmed fitment in writing before your purchase.

WHEEL CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Two-piece floating rotors have a larger overall diameter than some OE single-piece rotors due to the aluminum bell design. While we maintain OE rotor diameter specifications, the bell extends slightly beyond the rotor face.

Minimum Wheel Requirements: Most applications require a minimum 18" wheel diameter. Some high-performance applications may require 19" or larger — check the product listing for your vehicle.

Testing Wheel Clearance Before Installation:

  • Place rotor against hub (don't bolt down yet)
  • Mount wheel without fully tightening lug nuts
  • Rotate wheel and check for contact with rotor or bell
  • Check clearance at full steering lock both directions
  • Verify clearance with suspension compressed (push down on vehicle)

If wheels don't clear: this is NOT covered by fitment guarantee. You may need larger wheels or a different spoke design. We cannot accept returns for wheel clearance issues.

Note: OE wheel clearance does not guarantee aftermarket wheel clearance. Spoke design varies significantly between wheel brands.

MODIFIED VEHICLES

A vehicle is considered "modified" if it has ANY non-factory brake components: aftermarket calipers, caliper spacers or adapters, non-OE brake lines, suspension geometry changes, wheel spacers, or different brake components from another model/year.

For modified vehicles you MUST contact us before ordering. Provide details of all brake modifications, photos of current brake setup, caliper model/brand if aftermarket, and wheel specifications. If we confirm fitment in writing before your order, our fitment guarantee applies. If you don't disclose modifications before ordering, the fitment guarantee does NOT apply.

VERIFYING FITMENT BEFORE YOU ORDER

Most product pages include a vehicle selector. If your vehicle appears in the fitment list, rotors are designed to fit. If you're still not sure, email us at info@velocefermati.com with your vehicle year, make, model, variant, current wheel size and brand, any modifications, and photos if applicable. We'll confirm fitment within 1 business day.

WHAT TO DO IF ROTORS DON'T FIT

If Due to Our Listing Error: Contact us immediately at info@velocefermati.com with your order number, vehicle details, photos showing the incompatibility, and a description of the fitment issue. We'll provide a prepaid return label and either exchange to correct specification or issue a full refund including original shipping. Contact us within 30 days of delivery.

If Due to Wheel Clearance: Not covered by fitment guarantee. Wheel clearance is your responsibility. Returns follow our standard Return Policy.

If Due to Undisclosed Modifications: Not covered by fitment guarantee. Contact us to see if we have alternative specifications, or return unused rotors per standard Return Policy.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Professional installation is recommended for warranty validity. After installation, verify rotors are centered on hubs, no contact between rotors and calipers/brackets, wheels clear rotors at all steering angles, and no rubbing or scraping sounds when rotating wheels. If you notice any issues during installation, STOP and contact us before continuing.

INTERNATIONAL FITMENT

Vehicles sold in different markets (US-spec vs EU-spec, JDM, gray-market imports) may have different brake specifications even with the same year/make/model. If you have an imported vehicle, verify your exact brake specification and contact us before ordering. Fitment guarantee applies only if we confirmed fitment for your specific market vehicle before your order, or if our website specifically lists your market variant as compatible.

Q: How do I know if my wheels will clear the rotors?
A: Check the rotor outer diameter in our product specifications. We recommend at least 5mm clearance for safety. If wheels are near the minimum, measure spoke-to-hub clearance on your current setup.

Q: I have aftermarket wheels — will these fit?
A: Wheel clearance depends on spoke design, offset, and diameter. We can't guarantee fitment with aftermarket wheels. Test-fit before final installation.

Q: I have an aftermarket big brake kit — will these work?
A: No. Our rotors are designed for OE calipers only. They will not fit aftermarket caliper kits.

Q: Do I need to replace any other brake components?

All Veloce Fermati rotors are covered by a 12-month manufacturing warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal street use.

Professional Installation Required:
Warranty claims require proof of professional installation — a receipt or invoice from a qualified mechanic is mandatory. Self-installation voids the express warranty. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

What's Covered: Material defects in the iron friction ring or aluminium bell, hardware failures (bobbins and fasteners), manufacturing defects in cross-drilling or slot machining, and premature warping under normal street use.

What's Not Covered: Normal wear and tear, track or racing use, improper installation, thermal shock, contamination, or self-installation.

50% Replacement Program: All customers receive 50% off replacement rotors within 12 months of purchase — for any reason including track use. No return required.

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

Veloce Fermati warrants all two-piece floating rotor systems against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Warranty Period: 12 months from the date of original purchase against manufacturing defects, under normal street use conditions.

Veloce Fermati was founded by people with hands-on experience in GT3, GT4, and Radical motorsport. That background informs every design decision — we build these rotors to the specification we'd trust on track, because that's the environment we come from.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT

Professional installation by a qualified automotive technician is strongly recommended. Brake rotors are safety-critical components — improper installation can cause brake failure, vehicle damage, serious injury, or death.

Warranty claims require proof of professional installation. A warranty claim cannot be assessed without the following documentation:

  • Receipt or invoice from a qualified automotive technician or licensed mechanic
  • Installer business name and contact details
  • Date of installation
  • Torque values applied to mounting hardware
  • Brake pad model installed

Claims submitted without this documentation will not be assessed. We recommend retaining your installation records for the full 12-month warranty period.

Self-installation: Self-installation is undertaken at your own risk and voids the express 12-month manufacturing warranty. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

WHAT'S COVERED

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal use, including:

  • Material Defects: Defects in the iron friction ring or aluminium bell casting that affect structural integrity or performance
  • Hardware Failures: Defects in floating bobbins, mounting hardware, or fasteners supplied with the rotor kit
  • Manufacturing Defects: Errors in cross-drilling placement, slot machining, surface finish, or dimensional specifications outside tolerance
  • Anodising Defects: Premature failure or peeling of the aluminium bell anodised coating under normal conditions
  • Premature Warping: Rotor warping or distortion under normal street use when proper bedding procedures were followed and the rotor was professionally installed

WHAT'S NOT COVERED

Normal Wear and Tear:

  • Gradual friction surface wear from normal braking
  • Surface rust or oxidation on the iron friction ring (cosmetic only — removes with first brake application)
  • Minor surface scoring from brake pad contact
  • Rotor reaching minimum thickness through normal use
  • Brake pad deposits or glazing

Installation and Use:

  • Installation by an unqualified person
  • Incorrect torque on mounting hardware
  • Failure to use threadlocker on bobbin hardware
  • Incompatible brake pads
  • Contaminated surfaces during installation
  • Failure to follow the recommended bedding procedure
  • Installation on an incompatible vehicle application
  • Modifications to the rotor assembly in any form

Racing and Track Use:

  • Damage during sanctioned racing, time trials, track days, autocross, drift, or any competitive motorsport event
  • Thermal stress from sustained racing use

Track use voids the warranty because thermal and mechanical stresses in competition exceed normal street use parameters. Our 50% Replacement Program remains available to track customers.

External Factors:

  • Thermal shock (e.g. driving through water immediately after hard braking)
  • Contamination from brake cleaner, oil, grease, or chemicals
  • Damage from accidents, collisions, or off-road use
  • Running brake pads to metal backing plates
  • Corrosion from improper storage

Other Exclusions:

  • Rotors purchased from unauthorised dealers or resellers
  • Rotors with altered, removed, or illegible part numbers
  • Consequential damages including labour costs, towing, rental vehicle, or lost time

Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, Veloce Fermati's liability under this warranty is limited to replacement of defective parts or refund of purchase price at our discretion. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages including but not limited to labour costs, towing, rental vehicle expenses, or lost time.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

Returned Packages Due to Incorrect Address: You will be charged return shipping and reshipping costs to the corrected address.

RISK OF LOSS

Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the package to the carrier in Guangdong, China. After carrier acceptance, we are not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.

Transit Damage: If your order arrives damaged, we will replace it at no cost under our Return and Refund Policy. All international shipments include carrier insurance — we manage carrier claims on our end.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Tracking information is emailed within 24 hours of dispatch. First scan may take 24–48 hours.

Tracking Shows Delivered But You Did Not Receive: Check with household members, neighbours, and all possible delivery locations. Wait 24 hours — carriers occasionally mark delivered early. Contact us within 48 hours and we will assist with a carrier investigation as a courtesy.

SHIPPING DAMAGE

Inspect packaging before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and photograph immediately.

Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos of damaged packaging and product, photo of shipping label, and description of damage. Retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.

If damage is confirmed as transit-related, we will replace your order at no cost. We provide a prepaid return label and cover reshipping.

LOST PACKAGES

If your package is not showing as delivered, contact us within 7 days of expected delivery. We will initiate a trace with the carrier. Resolution depends on the carrier investigation outcome — title and risk transferred to you at carrier pickup.

DELIVERY DELAYS

The 5–10 business day estimate is not guaranteed. Actual delivery may vary due to customs processing, weather, carrier delays, remote destinations, or peak seasons. We are not liable for late deliveries or economic loss from delayed delivery.

REFUSED DELIVERY AND UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

Refused Delivery: If you refuse delivery for any reason including customs charges, the order is treated as a change-of-mind cancellation. No refund will be issued.

Does not cover: customer ordering wrong specification, wheel clearance issues with aftermarket wheels, modified brake systems (unless pre-approved by us in writing), or customer ordering for the wrong vehicle.

3. Wrong Item Shipped

If we shipped the wrong product, we provide a prepaid return label. You must return the wrong item before we ship the correct product or process a refund. We are not responsible if you install or use the wrong product before contacting us.

4. Damaged in Transit

If rotors arrive damaged in transit, we will replace them at no cost. We provide a prepaid return label and cover all reshipping costs. A transit damage claim must be reported within 48 hours of delivery — contact us with your order number, photos of damaged packaging and product, and description of damage.

RETURN REQUIREMENTS

Time Limits:

  • Transit damage: report within 48 hours of delivery
  • Wrong item shipped or our fitment error: contact us within 30 calendar days of delivery
  • Manufacturing defects: contact us within the 12-month warranty period

Condition — Wrong Item and Fitment Error Returns: Rotors must be unused and uninstalled, in original packaging with all hardware included, and free from marks, scratches, or contamination on friction surfaces.

Condition — Manufacturing Defect and Transit Damage: Installed rotors are accepted for assessment. Provide photos before returning — we will issue a return authorisation and prepaid label if the claim proceeds.

Non-Returnable in all cases: Change of mind, incorrect ordering by customer, products purchased under the 50% First-Year Replacement Program, rotors with modifications, or missing hardware.

RETURN PROCESS

  1. Contact Us First — Email info@velocefermati.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos. Do not ship anything without authorisation — unauthorised returns will be refused.
  2. Await Return Authorisation — We will respond within 2 business days. If approved, we provide a return authorisation number and prepaid return label.
  3. Pack Securely — Use original packaging. Include all hardware. Do not write on or tape directly to product boxes.

For all accepted returns using our prepaid labels, we are responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

REFUND PROCESSING

  • Returned items inspected within 2 business days of receipt
  • Refunds processed within 5 business days after inspection
  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Allow 5–10 business days for refund to appear in your account
  • Full product price refunded; original shipping costs not refunded (unless the return is due to our error)

Need replacement rotors within your first year of ownership for any reason? We offer 50% off a new set. This is separate from our warranty — it applies for any reason, including track use, wear, or accidental damage.

Eligibility:

  • Original purchaser only
  • Within 12 months of purchase date
  • One-time use per order
  • Same specification as original order

How to Use: Email us with your original order number. We will verify eligibility and send a 50% discount code. Place your replacement order using the code.

You keep your original rotors — no return required. Standard shipping rates apply — customer pays shipping on the replacement order.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • Replacement or refund for a major failure
  • Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality
